The Lentvaris Culture House, fostering the multicultural identity of the town and preserving the heritage of ethnic intangible culture, annually organises the traditional Saint John’s (Rasos) Festival in the Trakai District, near the Lentvaris (Graužis) Lake. Saint John’s is greeted with sports competitions, family entertainment, which is replaced by old ancestral rites and traditions, circles and songs of the Lentvaris amateur art groups as evening falls. The ladies named Rasa are crowned by a concert by a guest star of the music sky, a fire and dance show. |

"Street workout Bijūnai" Street gymnastics festival "Bijūnai Summer 2023" |
"Bijūnai Summer" is an event for young people involved in street gymnastics. It brings together gymnastic enthusiasts from all over Lithuania to participate in competitions and promotes cooperation between different youth organisations. This will be the 8th edition of the event. Participants can test themselves in five different street gymnastics and strength competitions. The most emotional event is the freestyle event, where each participant has two minutes to show their skills. This event also attracts a large number of spectators, as the performances are dynamic, physically demanding and accompanied by music. It is also an incentive for young people to participate in sport throughout the year, so that they can compete for prizes during the competition. |

Cabbage Day Fair |
The Cabbage Day Fair in Trakai, which accompanies the Assumption festivities, takes place every year on an island between the town and the castle, which is also called 'Kopūstine' by the locals because the Karaites used to grow cabbage there. Since ancient times, Feast of the Assumption with a solemn Assumption procession through the streets of Trakai been celebrated in the Trakai parish of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The procession, accompanied by an orchestra, marches from the church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, carrying an image of the miraculous Mother of God of Trakai, the Patroness of Lithuania, artfully decorated with flower blossoms and herbs. All people are invited to join in this procession, which is the annual introduction to the Trakiniai Feast. |

The Feast of Our Lady of Trakai, the Patroness of Lithuania, which has a tradition of more than six hundred years, takes place in the first week of September and is the oldest and most solemn celebration of the cult of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lithuania, also commemorating the name of the great Lithuanian ruler Vytautas the Great. On 24 May 1409, Grand Duke Vytautas of Lithuania established the Trakai parish church by a foundation privilege, and since then the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary has become one of the most important shrines of Mary in Lithuania. This was the second coronation of the holy image in the Lithuanian-Polish state, after the image of Our Lady of Czestochowa in 1717. |
